Mia + Alex’s Sunset Wedding Portraits at The Robertson Hotel
Golden Hour, Garden Paths, and a Bit of Magic in the Southern Highlands
Mia + Alex’s wedding had all the charm you’d expect from a Southern Highlands celebration — with a few curveballs (hello, self-made dress and pre-wedding poker).
The day started at The Robertson Hotel, where Mia got ready with her ride-or-dies and casually slipped into a wedding dress she made herself. No big deal — just next-level talent and a whole lot of heart.
Meanwhile, Alex kicked off his morning like a Bond villain (or hero?) with a poker game and his best mates before suiting up.
They tied the knot at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Berrima — a beautiful, stone-walled moment of stillness before the chaos of the best kind.
Back at the hotel, we wandered the moody, foresty gardens for portraits, chasing the light until golden hour showed up like an uninvited but welcome guest.
The night wrapped up with candlelight, epic speeches, wild dance moves, and a whole lot of love. Classic, honest, a bit cheeky — just like them.
