Jenn + Peter’s Blue Mountains Wedding at Breenhold Gardens
Sunshine, Garden Vows and a Sneaky Midnight Boogie
Jenn + Peter’s wedding was as a relaxed and intimate wedding celebration right in the heart of the Blue Mountains.
They both got ready at the Hydro Majestic — the hotel is perched on a clifftop with sweeping views outside while balancing art deco charm on the inside. We were crushing over the fact that they combined style and comfort with the two of them opting to wear Doc Martens on the day.
Before heading to the ceremony, Jenn shared a quiet moment with her parents in a secluded nook within the Hydro. Just the three of them. No fuss. Just a bit of space to take it all in.
Their ceremony was held at Breenhold Gardens, which is a private estate filled with tall trees, open lawns, and soft light streaming through the canopy around them at The Socrates Garden. Breenhold Gardens is magical space and holds so much abundance within its slice of the mountains. The ceremony was led by celebrant Ben Ager — a master of mixing heartfelt moments with cheeky humour. Jenn and Peter said their vows surrounded by nature, love, and the kind of light that photographers dream about.
After portraits in the gardens, the evening shifted back to the Boiler Room next to the Hydro for the reception. There was no traditional dance floor takeover. Instead, it was an evening of conversation, good food, and laughter – which suited these two down to a tee.
Over a year in the making to curate this day be what it was, and it was perfect.
