You probably have dozens of questions floating around...this is after all a big celebration you're organising. Until we sit down together, here's a few FAQ's that might help you decide whether we're a right fit for one another.
CAN YOU HELP US
PLAN OUR Wedding
day RUN SHEET?
Absolutely. Fi is a planning wiz and available every step of the way to help take the pressure off the planning process. She’ll create a flow for the day that gives you the chance to fully be present for your celebration.
To add videography
or to not add videography?
We work pretty well with videographers. However, there’s some approaches that can clash with our approach and ultimately alter the way we preserve your story. If you're thinking of adding videography, please reach out so we can offer some recommendations on some of our favourite vendor friends.
DO YOU SHOOT
ELOPEMENTS?
Heck yeah! Reach out about our elopement rates. We have been lucky enough to shoot such an intimate adventure between souls, and also acted as witnesses. It would be an honour to do so again.

A highlight gallery will be ready for you within 10 days of your wedding. Your full gallery will be ready within 10 weeks.

WEDDINGS?
Bobby has been documenting weddings since 2001 and ran his own business back in Los Angeles, CA. Once moving to Sydney in 2012, we continued the adventure, and Fi joined along. Fi turned her passion full time as of April 2016.
We feel super awkward being photographed — how can we keep it candid and natural?
Truth be told, each and every one of us is super awkward in front of the camera. We'll be there every step of the way, with a subtle direction or two to help you forget about the cameras in our hand. We have a plethora of ways to make you feel disarmed and comfortable, whether you're introverted or extroverted.
Do you both run
your photography
business together?
We run everything in the back end of this little business together. Nothing gets past both of our eyes before it comes through to you. Bobby is a master of the editing process and pays close attention to every element before it reaches your eyes. Fi is an admin over-achiever and will never leave you waiting on an email response for longer than 48 hours.

PORTRAITS?
We usually recommend 30 mins with your wedding party and an additional 45 mins for your wedding portraits. But every single wedding day is different and we’ll help curate a timeline that’ll give you ample time for your portraits and mingling time with your guests.

A WEDDING DAY?
The best time of day for your portraits is typically in the lead up to the last 2 hours of sunset. In Summer, the sun sets much later in the day, so try to schedule in an additional 10 mins during that time to sneak out of the reception for some alone time…with us. We promise to be a chill third wheel.
What resolution
can we expect
for our photos?
Both high and low resolution. High resolution for printing and low resolution for sharing on social media.

A FINE ART ALBUM
or Matted art
Prints from our
wedding day?
Big yes. The biggest injustice to your wedding imagery is to keep them on a computer – even though we live in a digitally driven era. The best way to relive your memories and to bring it all back to life is to invest in a Fine Art Album or framed prints. Nothing beats the tangible feel of having your memories and experiences on display in your home.
What's Your
backup gear
for cameras
& lenses?
Great question! We each have back up camera bodies at every wedding, accompanied by a variety of lenses and flash units. We also back up all image files in multiple drives to ensure nothing is lost.
Will you
travel
for our
wedding
day?
Most of our wedding adventures are located in either Sydney, Blue Mountains or the South Coast, but love to travel further if the opportunity comes up. Reach out if you are getting married interstate or internationally.
Do you
watermark
your images?
Absolutely not. They're your photos and they will be delivered to you unmarked.
WHAT TIME
SHOULD WE
have OUR
CEREMONY
in THE
SUMMER?
To be honest, it's hard to say because everyone’s day and flow of events are different. As a general rule, if you’re getting married in Summer consider having your ceremony start at something like 3.30pm and your reception a little later in the day. The Summer months can be harsh in light and incredibly sticky with heat.
Do you offer discounts?
For all our returning couples wanting to invest their maternity, family, newborn session with us, or even another life event, we offer a $200 discount off the session.
What if you You
haven't shot at
our Wedding
venue before?
We tend to always visit the venue before the wedding day (if time allows) to walk through the space, creatively play in the spaces available and storyboard where we visualise portraits to take place along with other elements of the day. It's nothing but a good thing if we haven’t worked at your venue before. Even if we haven’t shot there yet, we've probably heard and gushed over the space.
What creates
a beautiful
wedding?
A wedding is fundamentally about marriage - the weaving together of two individuals into a partnership to create a new life plump with possibilities. Creating a day you will look back on with full hearts means being truthful to who you are as individuals and bucking trends. Invite the people who bring you joy, who support you as people AND your marriage.

How do you
approach
wedding
Photography?
We love learning about the intricacies of love through the eyes of our couples. We can only grow as people and in our art through the bonds we create with those we work with. Learning about life through the experiences of those we work with is the heart of why we do what we do.
WHAT ARE YOU
INSPIRED BY?
Our biggest inspiration is how people connect, watching the way they interact with one another, witnessing the subtle ways their bodies tell one another they're home in their presence.
How does your counselling background
influence your approach to photography?
We both hold a formal diploma in counselling, with a focus on relationships. This background has allowed us to bring more than just an eye for imagery. It's given us a deep understanding of human connection, communication, and emotional nuance — all of which plays a meaningful role in how we build trust and connection with the couples who invite us into capturing their story.
How would you
describe your
imagery?
Relaxed, cinematic and poetically candid. Everything we do is about celebrating connection and light between the two of you.
