Caitlin started her morning at the Old Clare Hotel, a boutique icon known for its art deco charm and creative energy. The hotel blends history and design effortlessly, making it a favourite for couples who love something a little different.
Just before leaving, she shared a heartfelt first look with her dad — a quiet, beautiful pause before the day began.
A short walk away at the ceremony spot, Miles welcomed guests at Olio Kensington St, only a minute from the hotel. He was all smiles, greeting friends and setting the tone for a relaxed, joy-filled ceremony.

A Ceremony and Reception at The Olio, Chippendale
The ceremony, led by the ever fabulous celebrant Alison Pickel, was full of laughter, honesty, and heart. Alison’s warmth and humour had everyone smiling, and the connection between Caitlin and Miles filled the room.
Afterwards, we wandered through Chippendale’s laneways for portraits. The light was soft, the streets alive, and a sprinkle of rain at the end made the photos pure magic.
Back at The Olio, guests enjoyed incredible food, endless conversation, and dancing that carried long into the night. The staff at Olio were exceptional — the perfect hosts for a celebration that felt intimate yet full of energy.
