We were so darn lucky to photograph the beautiful wedding for Jess + Nathan. They got ready at Sofitel Sydney, and they chose to have their intimate ceremony at Kittyhawk, a French-inspired cocktail bar that gave the whole day an old-world charm, coupled with romantic vibes. One of the best parts of their entire day was being able to capture their personalities and love for each other, including their love for a champagne spray!

City portraits in the heart of Sydney were a must for their wedding day. The vibrant energy of the CBD provided an incredible backdrop, adding a modern edge to their timeless celebration. We wandered through iconic spots, capturing candid moments filled with laughter and joy. I don’t think we could have had more fun during their portraits if we tried. Roaming the city with them while laughing over stories was the perfect way to transition between the ceremony and reception.

The low light of Kittyhawk leaned into a uniquely romantic mood in the imagery, wrapping up the story with elegance. This venue was ideal for Jess + Nathan – relaxed, intimate, and full of sophistication that matched their personalities beautifully. From the heartfelt vows to the lively reception, every moment felt so authentically “them.” Kittyhawk truly brought their vision to life.
